A Confession from Virginia Whose Mother Has Been Healed of Leukemia by God's Power

 "Jesus Christ is everything to me!"
In the summer of 2002, very sad news reached me while I was in Seoul, Korea. My mother, who was living in Paris, France, at the time, was diagnosed with leukemia. After losing my father at a young age, the thought of losing my mother was just unbearable.
Then in February 2004, I joined Manmin Joong-ang Church after having been led to it by Deacon Victor Thermans Kitoko, with whom I was friends. From Pastor Nisa Han, Guidance Pastor of the Foreigners' Parish, I received Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's published works including The Message of the Cross and Tasting Eternal Life Before Death.
After reading those books, I could begin to understand God's Word more easily and as I witnessed the works of God's power manifested through Rev. Dr. Lee, I began to believe that my mother could also be healed.
In May of that year, I attended "The 12th Two-week Special Revival Meeting with Dr. Jaerock Lee" with an earnest desire to experience the signs and wonders myself. On one of the days of the Revival Meeting, I came to the Church with a photograph of my mother and received the Senior Pastor's prayer. When her condition did not improve, I began to pray in depth to find out the reasons for her failure to receive God's healing and find solutions to the problem. I paid closer attention to the Word of God preached and little by little obtained answers.
In order to receive God's healing, the patient herself had to accept the Lord, repent of the past, and receive prayer by faith. I also had to make every effort to live by God's Word with the kind of faith and deeds by which I could please God.
This was no easy task as all of my family members were Catholic but I began sharing the Gospel with my mother. Whenever I received the Senior Pastor's prayer, I kept her in mind. Even when I heard from a relative that her condition was growing worse, I strove to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in everything, firmly believing that God would surely heal her. Every day I read three chapters from the Bible and memorized a verse from it. Each time I discovered elements of evil within me, I endeavored to throw them out.
By the autumn of 2006, my mother's condition began to improve and by the beginning of this year, she had recovered much of her energy and become healthy again.
A medical checkup on June 11 of this year showed no traces of cancerous cells and her doctor was simply puzzled, kept telling her he couldn't understand what had happened. How could the knowledge and thought of man possibly understand the works of God? My mother told him that it was the answer to her daughter's prayer to God and that it should not have come as a surprise. Hallelujah!
Today, my mother is praying to personally experience by her own faith the Word of God and the works of His power to which I had testified to her.
I give all thanks and glory to God for allowing my family such marvelous blessings and, just as I received grace and come to possess faith after coming across testimonies of others, I hope my testimony will serve to do the same. I would also like to express my sincerest gratitude to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee for clearly showing me the path to sanctification and blessings through his messages.
