Manmin Central Church has Manmin Summer Retreat every August. The Manmin family from all over the world gathers together and many others join through the live broadcasting of GCN. Now let's be reminded of God's powerful works manifested during Summer Retreat by reminiscing about the last three retreats (Psalm 62:11).
Manmin Summer Retreat 2015, 'Seeking God's Love like Treasure Hunters'
On August 3, 2015, a circular rainbow appeared around the sun on the first day. Feeling God's love, the church members left for the retreat venue filled with the Holy Spirit.
In this retreat, God performed a wonder with a cool wind and through it optimum weather was set. In fact, the national heat wave alert was in effect at that time and it reportedly claimed some people's lives. However, a cool and refreshing wind kept blowing through the retreat venue. It controlled the temperature and humidity, and thereby kept the weather the best.
Big swarms of dragonflies ate and removed mosquitoes and harmful insects as in the past. They also landed on the attendees in a friendly manner. Many clouds with many spiritual images floated around the venue. Every meeting during the retreat was full of grace and emotion. They felt so happy to find and see the evidence of God's presence.
Furthermore, in Divine Healing Meeting, people were healed of cancer, skin diseases, herniated discs, fractured bones, and many varied pains. Many people recovered their eyesight and hearing ability. Some even came to walk throwing away canes and discarding their wheelchairs. They filled the stage to testify to their healings (Photo below). There was even a boy healed of autism, and many incurable diseases were also healed as well as 27 of 28 deaf people from foreign countries gaining the ability to hear.
Today people distance themselves from God. Sins and evil are prevalent. They do not believe unless they see proofs with their eyes. For this evil generation, the God of love has manifested endless signs, wonders, and powerful works through Dr. Jaerock Lee. For these reasons, Manmin members could voluntarily turn by their freewill and came to long for sanctified hearts which are hearts of spirit and whole spirit. They made up their minds to be the source of joy for God, the Lord, and the shepherd. So, they have now been striving to achieve a sincere heart in full assurance (Hebrews 10:22).
Manmin members in and out of Korea have added more trust and love for the shepherd in the Manmin Summer Retreat year by year. In this third stage of take-off, they will, as spiritual warriors, accomplish the providence of God for all people of all nations at this end time. They are now looking forward to the Manmin Summer Retreat 2016 and the unfolding of the magnificent explosion of blessings.
Brother Bampa Sella Omer, age 65, of Kinshasa Manmin Church, DR Congowas diagnosed with AIDS. He was becoming weaker and weaker, unable to eat and walk. All he could do was just to wait silently for his death. But he started his Christian life in Kinshasa Manmin Church in October 2014. Meantime, he participated in Manmin Summer Retreat 2015 through GCN's filmed broadcast. When he received Dr. Lee's prayer through GCN, he became hot with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Then all symptoms were gone and he regained his good health.
Manmin Summer Retreat 2013, 'Building Up Trust'
On August 5, 2013, a Summer Retreat Seminar was held. The sky was covered with thick clouds and rain drops began to fall. Soon it showered heavily.
Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee prayed, "Heavenly Father, give us good weather. Rain clouds, go away! Go away right now! Father, send us clearing of the clouds. Let us see stars. Be with us all the time. Rain, stop! Let the light come! In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen."
Right then, the rain clouds overhead parted and the blue sky right over the seminar venue became visible. The blue sky looked like a hole and it was surrounded by the rain clouds. Until the seminar ended, the hole in the rainclouds did not converge. It stopped raining and throughout the seminar it did not rain. Even bright stars could be seen in the clear blue sky overhead.
It was amazing that the thick rain clouds covering the sky were parted in both directions. Moreover, the clouds did not come together for around four hours. It was super amazing! There was even a cool breeze that dried people's wet clothes quickly.
Such an amazing wonder improved the faith of the people in attendance. A great number of people were healed of their diseases through the prayer for the sick after the seminar.
Skyla from Penang Manmin Deaf Church, Malaysiawas a year old at that time. Her parents were deaf and wanted their daughter not to be a deaf. But the medical test showed that Skyla was also deaf. However, they were not disappointed because they had faith that their daughter would be healed when they went to Manmin Summer Retreat held in Korea.
On August 5, 2013, after the prayer for the sick, their daughter started to respond to sounds. When someone asked her something, she nodded as though she understood it. She even turned around when her name was called. Her mother went up to the stage with her in her arms and testified to her healing with tears.
Deacon Jaesu Jeon, Daegu Manmin Church, age 70was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the third stage. He looked back upon his past life and repented many times that he had given others hard times. He had severe pain that made him feel like his intestines were being cut. But when he received Dr. Lee's prayer for the sick after the seminar, all the pain disappeared.
He was assured that he was healed, and he went to hospital after he returned home from the retreat. His doctor said, "I don't know what happened but the tumor has become so very small that nothing can be seen." With a grateful heart to God who healed him, he started to come early to church and clean the sanctuaries on Sundays. Every day, he prays for the sanctification of his heart, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee, and the church members, and he engraves the grace of God in his heart.
Manmin Summer Retreat 2014, 'Proving Our Trust'
On August 4, 2014, it was the first day of the Manmin Summer Retreat. Something unprecedented happened; it rained during the Arrival Service and the Seminar. Most of the attendees listened to the messages in the rain without umbrellas open.
The rain rather reminded them of God's, the Lord's, and the shepherd's tears shed for them, and it added to grace all the more. They thought about Dr. Jaerock Lee's 2002 India Crusade where people stayed without moving and focused on the message even in the heavy rain. After the seminar ended and Dr. Lee prayed for the sick, countless people were healed and God's glory was revealed all the more than ever before. Thinking of the crusade, they felt joyful.
It seemed hard for the people to feel thankful and joyful, but most of them believed that there must be God's good will and overcame it with trust. When something unexpected happens, God wants us to show true faith with unchanging trust. Again, it is faith to believe that God is good in any kind of situation. It was what God expected to find in us during the retreat. Through it, He allowed attendees to measure how close their faith is to the faith God wants.
In 2013, God stopped the rain in His love. But in 2014 He gave them a chance to fill up the justice in the rain. It was an opportunity to prove their trust, love, and faith towards God and the shepherd. Moreover, it brought down answers to their prayer so many people were healed of their diseases and received solutions to their problems.
Pastor Igor Bashlov (Blessing church in Jyvaskula, Finland) said, "A great teacher has great disciples. I was amazed seeing the people sit in the rain until the seminar ended. What's more, Dr. Lee did not leave in the rain until all was completely finished even after his message and prayer. I doubted whether there is such a pastor as him in the world. I felt like all of them together passed the test of faith."
