Summer Bible School 2017 was held by Children's Sunday School under the main theme of "Power" (John 14:12). It began with the opening service on July 30, 2017 and continued until August 2. The programs were broadcast live, so that children in many branch churches joined including Daejeon, Gumi, Eastern Gwangju, Muan, Cheonan, Gwangju, Seosan, New Gwangju, Pohang, Sokcho, Gyeongju, Wonju, Anseong, and Daegu Manmin Churches.

On July 30, Rev. Soojin Lee (Photo 1) delivered the message entitled "Power" during the opening service. She explained the basic concepts of the power, and urged children not to be stained with sin and live by God's will with thanks to God who has performed signs and wonders through the shepherd's great power in this church.

On the morning of Day 2, Pastor Miyoung Lee (Photo 4) preached the message and led prayer. She testified to the healing case of Brother Jaewoo Lee who had been healed of burns (Eastern Gwangju Manmin Church). She asked the children not to forget about the shepherd's love and sacrifice through which he manifests the power, and to act in goodness and obedience.

On the morning of the third day, the 10th Manmin Children's Talent Show was held. Grand Prize went to Power Junior Dance Team (Gumi Manmin Church) who showed jazz dance; the Gold Prize went to the Holy Fire Team who performed ribbon gymnastics; the Silver Prize went to the Power of Re-creation Team that performed a play; and the Bronze Prize went to the Shining Ensemble which presented a musical instrumental performance.

Pastor Eunji Han from Gumi Manmin Church, whose children received Grand Prize said, "The members experienced the shepherd's power such as healing of severe atopic dermatitis and jaundice. They themselves set the goal to win the Grand Prize and prepared for it with fasting and prayer."

That same afternoon, Rev. Heesun Lee (Photo 3) led 'Power Jesus' with the Power Chorus of the Performing Arts Committee as the backup singers. After urging them to achieve a good heart to consider others in her short message, she led praise full of the Holy Spirit. They praised the Lord by offering up the song "JESUS" earnestly as the last song.

On the morning of Day 4, Manmin Prayer Center President Boknim Lee (Photo 2) led the Fullness of the Holy Spirit Prayer Meeting. She had teachers lead in role playing acting out the casting off of untruthful elements of the heart. As she prayed for the children with the handkerchief of power (Acts 19:11-12), they repented of their discomfort toward others, ill feelings, untruthful words and deeds. They became more earnest to resemble the Lord who is goodness.

Children's Sunday School Principal, Pastor Minkyung Jo (Photo 5) said, "The weather was favorable for the Summer Bible School. It was a great opportunity for children to long for the spiritual world all the more. I give all thanks and glory to God who has shown us signs and wonders. I extend my thanks to all speakers who preached the messages and led prayer and praise for the children. I also give thanks to all people who helped us with love and care."

This year, in particular, the children visited Muan Sweet Water Aquarium where both salt and freshwater fish co-exist in the same water. The salty water from the sea at Muan Manmin Church was changed into sweet drinkable water by Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer; it was this Muan Sweet Water in the aquarium. They also learned more about Dr. Lee's overseas crusades and the power manifested in them.
