Why did God place the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil?
New Update
“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, ‘From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die.’” (Genesis 2:16-17) ...

"And He said, 'If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the LORD, am your healer'" (Exodus 15:26).

Anyone can be healed of any kind of diseases as long as they solve the problem of their sin and believe in God for nothing is impossible for God. Now let's look into what we should do to receive healing.

First, You Should Quickly Destroy the Wall of Sins

Isaiah 59:1-2 reads, "Behold, the LORD's hand is not so short that it cannot save; nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear."

It means that your wall of sin between you and God makes you unable to receive answers from Him. Therefore, to experience His work, you should first repent of sin thoroughly, turn back and destroy the wall of sin. What should you specifically repent of?

1) You Should Repent That You Did Not Believe in God Nor Accept Jesus Christ.

God created us and He loves us. He sacrificed His only begotten Son as atonement for us. If you didn't acknowledge or believe this great love of God, it is the biggest sin of all. As you realize it, you should repent that you did not believe in God and then accept Jesus Christ. Then God will give you the Holy Spirit as a gift. When you receive the Holy Spirit, light diseases could be burned by the fire of the Holy Spirit and cleansed immediately.

2) If You Accepted the Lord but Have Diseases, You Should Repent You Didn't Have True Faith.

Although you may profess your faith in God with your lips and go to church, you might not have assurance of faith in God and you might not have accepted the Lord as your Savior in heart. You may doubt the healing works through the Holy Spirit or when you have a problem you might rely on the world rather than on God.

In 2 Chronicles 16, King Asa believed in God and experienced amazing works of God in the beginning of his reign. But he corrupted later and distanced himself far from God. In 2 Chronicles 16:12 it says, "In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa became diseased in his feet. His disease was severe, yet even in his disease he did not seek the LORD, but the physicians."

God is our Father. He is full of love and He is Almighty. If you have true faith in God, you will depend only on God. To the extent that you rely on the world, it shows you do not have true faith in God.

If you fall under the situations in this case, you should repent that you did not fully believe in God. You should depend only on God and show your spiritual faith in Him. Then, He will surely give you an answer.

3) You Should Repent of Not Keeping God's Commandments.

1 John 5:3 says, "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome." The first half of Proverbs 8:13 reads, "The fear of the LORD is to hate evil." If you live in sin, although you profess your faith and love in God, it is a lie (1 John 2:4).

You cannot receive answers to your prayers for healing and receive blessings unless you try to keep God's commands which tell you to do, not to do, to keep, and to throw away things. Thus, you should repent that you didn't keep the commandments, and repent that you didn't love others and didn't work faithfully. If you repent and live by the Word with love for God, He will heal you and give you answers.

4) You Should Repent of Trying to Reap without Sowing.

Galatians 6:7 says, "…for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap." That is, you should sow seeds of faith before God if you desire to receive blessing from God. In other words, you should plant seeds of time, effort, and energy. For example, you should worship and pray in spirit and truth, work faithfully for the kingdom of God, and give tithes and thanks offerings.

Matthew 6:21 reads, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." God receives the aroma of your heart contained in your deed, rather than the deed itself, or just the amount of money given. If you please God with the aroma of your heart, faith, and love, answers and blessings will come quickly.

If you love God, you will sow seeds of faith diligently even when you don't have any specific problem. It's because you are so thankful for being saved, and for the love and grace of God. You will think, 'What can I give of more, and how can I pay back for the grace given to me?" With this in heart, you will pray fervently, work faithfully, and give offerings to God. They always receive blessing to the extent, or more than they have sown. If you have a problem that requires a special answer, you should plant the seed of faith with all the more strength.

Secondly, You Should Have Spiritual Faith That You Have Been Healed.

Isaiah 53:5 says, "…and by His scourging we are healed." Jesus had no sin at all. But still, He was scourged and shed His precious blood to redeem us from our sin. Once you ask for healing with faith in the love of the Lord your Redeemer, you should confess you have already been healed and rejoice and give thanks. Then, God will give you spiritual faith to receive answers.

Here, you should remember the timing of answers can differ from person to person. Some are healed immediately when they receive prayer, but others seem to need more time to be completely healed. God works according to each one's heart and situation. Suppose someone seems to manage an unchanging Christian life after being healed. Even if he has a little faith, he can receive the answer on the spot. Some people are healed gradually as their faith grows, or others receive healing after they have matured in their faith. It is because souls' salvation is God's final goal in healing of diseases. Thus, although you were healed, if you commit sin again, you may get the disease again.

In John 5:14, Jesus said, "Behold, you have become well; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you." In other words, He says that, even though you are healed by faith, your diseases may worsen if you sin again. Therefore, it's important that you keep trying to live by the Word of God after healing. Only when you ask with this truthful heart, God can give you answers more quickly and give you more abundant blessings.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, if you believe God in heart and repent, you cannot commit the same sin again. Of course, you may not be able to live completely by the Word. But if you pray and try hard, God will give you strength to live by His Word. He will give you spiritual faith, healing, and answers. He will give you blessings of the prosperity of your soul, success in everything, and good health. And after this earthly life ends, He will lead you to the eternal Heaven.

I urge you to remember salvation is more important than healing and answers. I pray in the name of the Lord that you will receive answer to all your prayers.
