When I was an elementary school student, my family joined Gwangju Manmin church and started the Christian life. At that time we were in agony because of my sister’s epilepsy.
My father gained faith by seeing and hearing the church members’ healing testimonies at the church. In order for my sister to be healed, he went to Seoul to see Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee, and shook hands with him. Surprisingly, she was completely healed and we have enjoyed a peaceful and happy life.
Then, I developed asthma in the winter of 2017. I woke up in early morning because of difficulty in breathing and coughed badly until the dawn broke. Before I went to bed, I always put an inhaler at my bedside. When it didn’t work, I inhaled medications. I was afraid of going to bed.
I had to carry the inhaler for emergency when I felt a pressure on my chest and coughed even when I went out. Besides, when climate or environment wasn’t fit to me such as heavy fine dust concentration or rainy day, my bronchial tube became narrow and inflammation was formed, which gave me a hard time.
After I heard that Divine Healing Meeting would be held at Manmin Central Church this year, my heart with anticipation was on fire. With the determination of pleasing God by doing what I could do, I started distributing Manmin News on my way to work. I read the Bible and memorized the verses every day and made efforts to practice the word of God.
When Pastor Soojin Lee prayed with the handkerchief on which the Senior Pastor prayed at Divine Healing Meeting in January, I felt peace and refreshed as if my heart was open. After that, I longed for Mrs. Boknim Lee’s “Sprit Fullness Prayer Meeting and Handkerchief Meeting” at Gwangju Manmin Church one week later. I attended the preparatory meetings. As I thoroughly repented of not keeping the Lord’s Day wholly, and of blaming circumstances, I felt heat all over my body and sweats flew from my head.
Cough started in the early morning on February 9 when the meeting was held. But I was sure of my healing; I neither used the inhaler nor take the medicine. I couldn’t get enough sleep, but my heart was full of joy.
Upon hearing Mrs. Boknim Lee’s message entitled “Control your feelings,” I recalled my life and repented. When she touched my neck, I felt cool on my neck as if I put a medic patch. I breathed in and out deeply. It was not like before. Hallelujah!
After I experienced the wonderful love of the Lord, I once again realized that I’m happy to be a Christian. I live my life with joy and thanks. I showed a little deed but God gave me a great answer and blessing. All thanks and glory be to God of love.
