The God-pleasing sanctuary is the passageway to blessings. Since it is directly related to the souls’ salvation, building God’s temple is not only a reward in heaven, but also a shortcut to blessings on earth. However, you cannot please God just by building a sanctuary with a lot of finances. The temple of God refers to the visible body of the Lord, the church, but it also refers to the hearts of God’s children. When we accept Jesus as the Savior, the Holy Spirits comes into our hearts, helps us to live by the truth, and leads us to the kingdom of heaven. Likewise, because the Spirit of God dwells in our hearts, our hearts are a temple of God. (1 Corinthians 3:16) Therefore, the temple construction that pleases God is building a holy temple with the aroma of the hearts of God’s children who long for His sanctuary, the aroma of their sanctification, and the aroma of their prayer.
The vision of construction of the Grand Sanctuary given to Manmin
King David also made all the preparations for building of a temple during his life, but because he shed a lot of blood at wars, God had his son Solomon build the temple. In this way, it is very important whether the person who wants to build a temple is proper in justice or not. God entrusted our church with the mission of building the Grand Sanctuary in the end time. He wants to receive the Grand Sanctuary built by the members of Manmin who have achieved sanctification without any blemishes or spots. So, God is growing our faith in order to make each of us the foundation stone for the Grand Sanctuary. The Grand Sanctuary is a symbol that shows the glory of God in the spiritual space in this physical space. It is the largest and best temple in human history that reveals the power of majesty of God Almighty. It is the ark of salvation where the fire of the Holy Spirit burns brightly for 24 hours, the vitality is stirred by spiritual words and amazing power, and the nations and kings visit with longing for God. It is also a monument commemorating God’s triumph of human cultivation. The reason God created and cultivated man is to obtain true children. At the end of human cultivation, many souls will come out as true children in the works of the Holy Spirit, and the Grand Sanctuary will be built with their hands. Therefore, the very fact that the Grand Sanctuary is being built is a proof that God has finally acquired true children, and He will receive comfort and great joy by seeing the Grand Sanctuary about His endurance and mourning through the years of cultivation. When God accomplishes something, He always works in a way that is proper in justice. The most important condition of justice necessary for the construction of the Grand Sanctuary is ‘What king of hand is it built by?’ No matter how wealthy you are, no matter how powerful you are, the construction of the Grand Sanctuary cannot be accomplished without a proper person to build it.
In the Old Testament era, external sanctification and physical circumcision were practiced, but now, in the era of the Holy Spirit, we have to achieve sanctification of the heart through the circumcision of the heart. We should build a temple of the heart that is worthy by casting off every form of evil and cutting off the attributes of the flesh that are foul and stinky. (Ephesians 2:22) The reason that the Israelites, who easily conquered the city of Jericho, suffered a devastating defeat in the battle against the small city of Ai, was because the person named Achan violated God’s Word and sinned. So, we should not think, ‘It will be okay without me.’ We have to become joy with perfect faith and obedience, and we have to build a temple of the heart by sanctifying ourselves. God wants everyone to become one in the construction of the temple. To become one is to obey the words of the leader who’s leading in front, at your own position, and to work together in one mind towards one goal in any situation and environment. What God really wants from us is that none of us gets left behind in this flow of spirit, that we all enjoy the glory of the temple, and that we all run fervently only with the hope for New Jerusalem.
