“Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” The 40th Church’s Opening Anniversary, Thanks and Glory Be to God the Trinity!

On July 24, 2022, there was a service to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our church’s opening. In the Sunday Morning service, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee’s video sermon entitled, ‘The History of Manmin’(Numbers 23:19) was aired, and in the Evening service, Acting Senior Pastor Dr. Soojin Lee preached the message entitled, “Your beginning was insignificant, but your end will increase greatly.”(Hebrews 11: 1-3, Job 8:7).
On July 25, 1982, our church held the opening service in a sanctuary with less than 10 square meters where 13 members attended, and achieved a revival of over 3,000 registered members in less than 5 years thanks to the signs, wonders, and amazing works of God’s power. Our church has become a church whose members gather in the sanctuary every day to pray, and a church dedicated to charity. In the 1980s and 1990s, our church played a part in the national evangelism and various Christian united events, thereby contributing to the revival of Protestant Christianity.
In God’s great providence, the United Holiness Church of Korea was formed with the fivefold gospel by adding ‘resurrection’, the essence of Christianity to the fourfold gospel of the Holiness Church denomination. Then, in 1993, our church was selected as one of the world’s top 50 churches by the US magazine, “Christian World.”
Starting with the ‘Holy Spirit World Explosion Crusade’ in 1992, we worked hard for national evangelization and world mission through Christian events such as ‘1993 Washington Evangelization United Crusade’, ‘1994 African Pastors and Church Leaders Seminar’, ‘1994 Seoul Holy Spirit Crusade’, ‘1995 LA World Mission Congress’, ‘1995 Peaceful Re-Unification Jubilee Crusade in 50th Anniversary of Independence’, ‘1996 Hawaii Korean Church United Crusade and Pastors Seminar,’ and ‘1996 Argentine Korean Blessing Crusade and Local Pastors’ Seminar’.
In the 2000s, starting with the ‘Uganda United Crusade’, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee led overseas united crusades in Japan, Pakistan, Kenya, the Philippines, Honduras, India, Russia, Germany, Peru, Democratic Republic of Congo, the United States, Israel, and Estonia in the 2000s, and he preached God the Creator and Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth with signs and explosive power. Through this, countless souls were healed, converted, and saved.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the church opening, from July 25, 2007, he travelled all over Israel, where the gospel began, and preached the fivefold gospel of holiness along with the works of power. In September 2009, he led the ‘Israel United Crusade’ in Jerusalem, the heart of Israel, and boldly proclaimed that Jesus Christ is the Savior, having a profound impact on the revival of Protestant Churches in Israel.
Especially, when praying with the handkerchief of power(Acts 19:11-12) on which Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed, countless works of extraordinary power written in the Bible were manifested. Incurable and hard-to-cure diseases were cured in various places at home and abroad, transcending time and space.
In addition, through GCN TV(www.gcntv.org) covering more than 170 countries, Christian books translated into 61 languages(www.urimbooks.com), and various social media, our church is striving to save souls by proclaiming the love and power of God to the whole world.
On the 40th church’s opening anniversary, we give all thanks and glory to God the Trinity, who is with us through unending power and will greatly fulfill the providence of the last days, such as the construction of the Grand Sanctuary.
