 As if drawing a picture on a white sheet of paper, Manmin Central Church is drawing a great picture of God’s providence for the end time?leading all peoples around the world to salvation under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The heart of Father God is vividly embedded in the past 41 years of Manmin’s history. Let us look into the heart of Father God displayed through this church.
First, His heart is love.
Some Non-Christians often ask Christians the following questions: “Why did God create a terrible hell even though He is said to be a God of love?” and “Why did God place the tree of knowledge of good and evil to let people commit sins?” It is because they mistake God for a God of judgment who brings them disasters and they are afraid of Him.
However, the believers of Manmin who are born again of water and the Spirit can boldly say that God is love. This is because they have experienced abundant love of God displayed in this church. Our loving Father God has moved us from death to life and brought us out of despair to hope. He has healed the sick, made the poor rich, and reconciled unhappy families to each other.
You could also experience His love through the words of life spoken through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. From the early days of our church, God Himself gave us numerous words containing His providence for human cultivation to gain His true children, such as ‘Heaven and Hell,’ ‘Why is Jesus the Savior?’ ‘Why did God place the tree of knowledge of good and evil?’
Through the sermons on heaven, we could have knowledge of God’s love who wants us to enjoy good things in heaven forever. Through the sermons on hell, God has guided many souls to turn away from their sins and live a faithful life in Christ.
Whenever we make the bread of life of such messages one by one, we can feel the love of Father God who wants to give only good things to His children. The Word of God contains the love of God who wants His beloved children to receive blessing and answers in their earthly lives so that those who keep and practice His Word can experience healing, enjoy good health and receive answers and material blessings (Deuteronomy 28).
This church has been dedicated to world mission to show such a great love of God to many souls around the world. We have widely spread the salvation of Jesus Christ and the holiness gospel to the world by holding overseas crusades and pastors’ seminars and through GCN’s worldwide broadcast and Urim Books’ books and newspapers in multiple languages.
As of October 8, 2023, The Message of the Cross has been published in 60 languages, Heaven I in 38, Heaven II in 31, and Hell in 39 languages. In total, more than 112 religious books were published in Korean and translated in 66 languages, of which 720 books were printed and 899 books published in electronic form including in English, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, and Hebrew. Those multi-lingual books have led countless souls around the world to the path of salvation.
Countless people who have contacted Manmin’s ministry through the Internet and YouTube have been transformed by the renewing of mind and received healing and answers by the gospel of holiness and manifestations of God’s power.
Second, His heart is goodness.
1 John 1:5 says “This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.”
God is Light itself and full of goodness and love. He is holy, blameless, pure, undefiled, and devoid of evil. He hates evil so much exceedingly.
Father God hopes His beloved children will have no evil in their hearts (Proverbs 8:13). That’s why He chose this church and through the holiness gospel He has led His beloved children to throw away evil and to resemble Him by accomplishing His goodness. As 1 Timothy 4:5 says, “for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer,” they should devote themselves to the word of God and prayer to sanctify their hearts.
Since this church was founded in July of 1982, the fire of prayer has not been extinguished. Daniel Prayer Meeting began in 1986 and to this day, under the guidance of President of Manmin Prayer Center, Boknim Lee, pastors, leaders, and believers have gathered in fervent prayers every night.
Manmin’s worship services and prayer meetings are broadcast live through GCN and the Internet, and many believers from branch and associative churches at home and abroad attend simultaneously. They are surprised and say “Manmin Central Church is so amazing. They look like the early church where believers gathered and prayed in the sanctuary every day.” In the last days, many believers from Manmin will accomplish the love and goodness of God by means of the word fo God and fervent prayers and come forth as true children of God.
Third, His heart is the manifestation of power.
It is impossible to talk about the history of Manmin Central Church without mentioning the manifestations of God’s power. Since the founding of the church, countless wonders, signs, and extraordinary miracles have been manifested transcending time and space.
Above all, God performed the power to move weather and aerial conditions, and it controlled temperature and stopped natural disasters such as typhoons and droughts. It is so hot in heat waves in early August in South Korea. Despite such a scorching weather we could enjoy summer retreat in optimal temperature and excellent weather. Our retreat area was excluded from the national heat wave warning just like the land of Goshen was protected from the Ten Plagues.
When typhoons, hurricanes, and cyclones approached, they changed their courses or weakened and lost their strength, and then high waves calm down by prayers. By the power of God it rained in a long-drought land, and rain stopped in flooding land, and people were protected from volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.
In addition, demons were cast out, incurable diseases were healed, and infirmities were made whole by the power of God. As God performed extraordinary miracles through Apostle Paul in which evil spirits departed and diseases were healed through the handkerchief taken from his body (Acts 19:11-12), He is performing the same extraordinary miracle through the handkerchief I prayed on in which people are healed of diseases and fulfill their heart’s desires so that they experience amazing works of the Holy Spirit and give glory to God.
What is the reason that the living God manifests such powerful works through this church? This is because God wants to announce to the whole world that He is great and glorious, the Creator worthy of glory, and the Ruler of all things.
Today, the number of those who say there is no God and despise the name of God is increasing day by day. However, the power of God is greatly manifested in this church and it is playing a role in leading those seeking the Lord to the path to light and life like a lighthouse in this sin-drenched world. As recorded in Habakkuk 2:14, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea,” this church will testify of God the Creator to the whole world.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Shortly before opening the church, God gave me the name of this church, saying, “Call it Manmin Church. When the time comes you will go on a pilgrimage to Holy Land and find the reason that I name it ‘Manmin’, which means ‘all creation’”.
During the pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 1989, I saw All Nations Church, that is translated into ‘Manmin’ in Korean, stands on the Garden of Gethsemane, and I realized that Manmin was named by God for Him to achieve world evangelization and fulfill His plan for all peoples of the nations. The manifestations of God’s love and goodness and power will be even greater in Manmin Central Church in the future.
I give all thanks and glory to our Father God who has been with Manmin in His grace and love until this 41st anniversary. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the infinite love and blessings of God will overflow upon all of you.
