At 10 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2006, "The 2006 Opening Ceremony" was held at the Main Sanctuary of Manmin Joong-ang Church with approximately 600 pastors, ministers, and church workers from all of Manmin churches throughout Korea in attendance. Based on 1 Peter 1:15-17, Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee urged all those in attendance to "enter spirit and whole spirit by accomplishing holiness according to God's Word in 2006 through the fiery work of the Holy Spirit."
