Many people today are suffering from atopic dermatitis. It is an illness triggered by an abnormality in a person's immune system and some of the main causes for atopic dermatitis can be found in our surroundings, such as heredity, pollution, stress, and the like. Alone in South Korea whose population is about 48.5 million, experts estimate that about 2 million people are suffering from atopic dermatitis today.
Considered to be one of the most atrocious incurable diseases of our generation and threatening the lives of people everywhere today, the medical community is treating atopic dermatitis as one of the most urgent assignments it has after AIDS and cancer.
Yet, by introducing a number of cases in which atopic dermatitis was healed not by medicine but only by the power of God, Manmin Joong-ang News seeks to glorify God.

Atopic Dermatitis in Both Legs
Deacon Hyungsun Kim (4-14th Parish)
 In July 2005, blisters developed on the legs of my 3-year-old daughter Yea-ji. She began scratching them and soon all the blisters made her legs looked like she had suffered from a terrible burn.
My wife and I took turns in sleeping at night to prevent Yea-ji from scratching her legs, but it was of no use. We even tied together the arms of our daughter so that she would not scratch her legs. While looking at Yea-ji, with her arms tied, my wife and I were tormented in our heart.
Then my wife and I remembered the Word of God, saying that the children's diseases come from the wrongdoings of their parents. We rent our heart in repentance for not having loved God more and not having been at peace with each other.
As soon as Yea-ji received prayer from the Senior Pastor, oozing stopped and crusts developed on her legs. On August 4, exactly 3 weeks after atopic dermatitis was first detected, she became whole again.

Atopic Dermatitis on Dorsum of Left Hand

 Early in October 2005, blisters began developing on my left hand, which soon began swelling and terribly itching. The condition deteriorated worse that my hand smelled rotten. I was diagnosed with atopic dermatitis.
I began wondering, "Why did something like this happen to me?" and attended "The Handkerchief Meeting with Pastor Hee-sun Lee" held at Busan Manmin Church.
As soon as Pastor Lee said, "If you had not set your eyes on the world, atopic dermatitis would not have come to you," and prayed for me, the itching stopped and my swollen face became normal.
As I fasted for the following 3 days, I repented for having set my eyes on the world, applied the Muan Sweet Water of God's power, and everyday received the Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's "Prayer for the Sick" recorded on the automated telephone message.
Soon afterwards, the crusts fell off my left hand and new flesh developed, making my left hand soft and new again.

 In August 2005, the back of my neck became dry all of a sudden and oozing began through the cracks that had been developed in my flesh.
A few days later, when I went to receive the Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer, he asked me, "Have you seen anything improper on the Internet?" The Senior Pastor caught me off guard and because there were many people nearby, I said, "No, I haven't," and lied to him. After that, the oozing continued relentlessly.
I participated in the nightly Daniel Prayer Meeting and thoroughly rent my heart in repentance for having lied and having been to harmful and improper websites.
I again received the Senior Pastor's prayer on August 20 and felt like my neck was set ablaze. I immediately realized that I had been healed and a little later, I could confirm complete healing as the oozing stopped.
