The 2008 Inauguration Service

Ninety workers who are to propel Manmin's spiritual growth and development have been inaugurated.
The Sunday Evening Service on September 21 was offered to God as "The Inauguration Service" for new assistant pastors, elders, and senior deaconesses. The sum of 90 new workers -- 3 assistant pastors; 23 elders; 43 active senior deaconesses; 15 honorary senior deaconesses; and 6 associate senior deaconesses -- is the twice that from 2007.
The Evening Service was divided into 5 sessions, during the first of which Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee proclaimed a message entitled "Complete Faithfulness" (Revelation 2:10). The second session was reserved for the inauguration of assistant pastors; the third for elders; the fourth for senior deaconesses; and the fifth consisted of "A Word of Encouragement" by Elder Boaz Lee (The United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ, Vice President), "A Word of Congratulations" by Professor Byung-Jong Kim (Dept. of Art, Seoul National University), "An Address in Reply" by Rev. Esther K. Chung (former president of Seoul Women's University), a special performance by the Hallelujah Praise Team, the presentation of offerings, conferment of plaques of inauguration, and benediction.

The newly inaugurated Rev. Esther K. Chung, President of Manmin International Seminary, remarked "I am grateful to have become an assistant pastor at Manmin Central Church that pursues the world with the fiery works of the Holy Spirit. I am aware of my grave responsibilities and shall devote myself more for the kingdom of God".
