Having goals is important in our lives since it determines the quality of our life. It also provides the motivation or driving force in our lives to move forward. In our Christian lives, believers with clear goals and ones without any are totally different. Apostle Paul had the clear goal of Heaven, so he could fulfill his duties faithfully and unsparingly gave his life as a martyr. He was not coerced to do so, but he did so with joy without any fear of death because he hoped to see the Lord and had hope for eternal rewards in Heaven.
