The lizard lives in the king's palace

when the lizard is caught by its tail, it cut its tail and runs away quickly. The cut tail flutters here and there then, distract enemy's attention in order for the lizard to have enough time for escape. Besides, the lizard will not bleed on the place of its cut tail and new tail grows in a month. Suppose, the lizard lives in the king's palace.

Because the palace has king's dignity nobody can behave prudently. Although people find small and weak animals in the palace, they won't kill them.

Therefore, the lizard has the wisdom to keep its life by residing in the king's dignity. In the same way, the way to protect ourselves from threatening dangers of the world is to live in and conduct in the light, seeking for the truth in Christ.

This is because, when we live in God's will and trust in Him, the authority of God who created all creatures will become our shield and shelter. We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him [1 John 5:18]
