There lived a woman who had taken a pessimistic view of her miserable life at home and wanted nothing more than going to heaven when her life expired. Then one day, God promised the woman He would take her to heaven if she did three things for nine days. He told her to clean up her house, look after her children with love to the best of her ability, and serve her husband from the heart. Since she thought she had nothing else to lose, the woman made every effort to obey God. When she saw for the first time in a long while how delighted her husband and children were to be in a nicely tidied-up home, the woman then realized, "My home is heaven!" By the same token, heaven is not some faraway place; it will be in our heart when we serve and love others in truth.
