At the onset of a new year, many people renew their heart, set goals, and become filled with hope. They shake off unpleasant memories and events and expect only good things to unfold in the coming year. Some people, however, fail to accomplish what they set out to do as they are unable to control their heart and mind while the goals of others burst like a bubble as they come across events beyond the limits of man. Yet, when we harbor desires of heart in God and fix our eyes on Him, nothing is impossible for us. God's children will bear witness to the realization of things for which they hope.
" For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13).
