God created men with the expectation of gaining His true children with whom He can share true love forever. He wants His children to keep His commands and live by His Word out of love for Him, not out of fear. He also wants His children to love and trust Him even in any kind of adversity, not just when they live in blessing. God wants to gain such children and share love and enjoy the glory of heaven with them forever. To do so, He even sent His only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross for us. "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32)
