Even if people are brought up in the same environment, depending on their mindsets, some can be happy while others become miserable. Like the two sides of a coin, one person can say of a half-full glass of water, "It's half empty" and another can say, "It's half full." Outcomes of people's lives hinge on life's "moment's decisions." On the one hand, if people keep accepting negative thoughts and views, they will end up driving their lives into difficulties and crises. On the other hand, if people keep harboring bright and good thoughts and have a positive outlook on everything despite their difficult conditions, they will be able to overcome any difficulties and crises.
"For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace" (Romans 8:6).
