No matter how much wealth, fame, and authority the haughty may possess, they are unable to be at peace with others or enjoy true comfort and happiness. On the contrary, as the humble tolerate all kinds of people in love and virtue, they will win the hearts of others, accomplish great things, and receive more love and reverence.
