Many people suffered difficulties last year in the wake of the economic recession at home and around the world. On top of that, experts are offering a bleak outlook, unable to draw an optimistic picture for 2009. At such times, it is easy to fall into despair if one fixes his eyes only on the reality. However, Christians with true faith enjoy peace even as they live through the same difficult period. Trusting in God with whom nothing is impossible, they will experience the resolution of all their problems and be led onto the best path. Faith enables man to overcome obstacles and ultimately leads him to heaven, and this is the very reason Christians rejoice always and give thanks in everything. Therefore, the most important factor is not the difficulty facing an individual but whether or not that individual possesses faith.
